It is that time of year again. NASCAR season ended last month, and now we are into the break. While it is sad we cannot sit around the TV with a barbecue and beer, cheering from the top of our lungs for our favorite driver to win, there are still positives.
Christmas is right around the corner! Christmas is a time to bring the family together, and essentially to be a family. We get to have a nice Christmas dinner, go to Christmas parties, and of course open presents Christmas morning. Setting up the Christmas tree, putting on the lights, and yes hanging up ornaments all over the house is a must do. Oh, and let us not forget the Christmas movies that come on this time of year. Shows/movies such as: It’s a Wonderful Life, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, and all the Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel. In short, for me at least, that is what Christmas is all about, that is the true meaning of Christmas. A chance to be with family, to celebrate the ups and downs, to forget about all the problems going in our lives and just come together. So while NASCAR may not be on until February, I am stoked about Christmas. It is my favorite time of year, and I cannot wait for it to come.
What is your Christmas plan/tradition? What is the true meaning of Christmas for you and your family?
it is the day our Lord Savior Jesus was born.
have a merry Christmas moritz and all my nascar friends...
Without Jesus, there wouldn't be Christmas. I always go to my grandma's.
