Texas is one of the fastest race tracks on the schedule. Last April, Kyle Busch broke the track record with a qualifying speed of 196.299 mph. The tight corners at the race track put a premium on handling. Usually this means the crew chiefs are just as important as the drivers at Texas. The races on the Superspeedways this season have become a game of follow the leader. Passing has become difficult in the Gen-6 car on this type of race track, so some drivers may lead many laps on Sunday.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will head back to Charlotte this week for the Bank of America 500.
The last race at Charlotte in May was dominated by Kasey Kahne, but won by Kevin Harvick. Kahne started sixth, led 161 of the 400 laps and finished in second place. Matt Kenseth started third and led 112 laps, but finished in 15th place.
