Fantasy NASCAR Picks for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Martinsville

This week the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads back to Martinsville Speedway for the Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500.

The race last April at Martinsville was dominated by Jimmie Johnson. He started the race from the pole and led 346 of the 500 laps on his way to Victory Lane. If you have any starts with Johnson left, this is the week to use him.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will head back to Charlotte this week for the Bank of America 500.

The last race at Charlotte in May was dominated by Kasey Kahne, but won by Kevin Harvick. Kahne started sixth, led 161 of the 400 laps and finished in second place. Matt Kenseth started third and led 112 laps, but finished in 15th place.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is making back-to-back races on 1.5-mile tri-oval race tracks. Although the Charlotte race track has…

There they are: our championship contenders. I say that but I think some of them are not really serious contenders. Austen Dillon is probably not going to be holding the trophy after Homestead. Or Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. or Ryan Blaney or Ryan Newman…Continue
