Fantasy NASCAR Picks for Sprint Cup Series at Atlanta

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series makes its first trip to Atlanta for the AdvoCare 500.

Atlanta is one of the fastest racetracks on the circuit. It is scary to think what the qualifying speed for Sunday night’s race may be in the new Gen-6 car. The multiple grooves on the racetrack make the race at Atlanta so fun to watch. Teams can setup their cars to run the bottom, the middle, or the top.

The two drivers who have had the most success at Atlanta in the past three years are Jeff…

Fantasy NASCAR Picks for Sprint Cup Series at Bristol

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series makes a return trip to Bristol for the Irwin Tools 500.

There will be a lot of beating and banging as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races under the lights at Bristol. Drivers often start the race in good spirits, ready to tame the high-banked half-mile racetrack. By the end of the races, fist should be flying as drivers argue who is at fault for honking the “chrome bumper” in Thunder Valley.

It seems like a long time since the NASCAR Sprint Cup…

Fantasy NASCAR Picks for Sprint Cup Series at Michigan

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series makes a return trip to Michigan for the Pure Michigan 400.

Since the last race at Michigan in June, the Sprint Cup Series has raced at a superspeedway, three flat racetracks, a cookie-cutter racetrack and two road course racetracks. The drivers who have momentum now may not dominate the race at Michigan since the racetrack is so different from what the Series has raced on recently.

Michigan is a 2-mile D-shaped racetrack. The only other racetrack…

"Rowdy ridin high in the saddle again"

Hate him or love him, Kyle Busch is hittin on all 8 again it seems. Turning the competition into as us Southern folk would say..."Boiled Cabbage"

Third time is the charm as Kyle Busch wins the Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen 2013 after coming so close the last 2 years.

Road course, short track or the super high banks. Kyle seems to have all his past and present emotions in check! Never have I seen Kyle in such relaxed form as he is now.

Be it his wife who is keeping him…

Fantasy NASCAR Picks for Sprint Cup Series at Watkins Glen

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Watkins Glen this week for the Cheez-It 355.

This will be the second race of the 2013 season on a road course. Although Watkins Glen is much different from Sonoma, the drivers who had success in California will have success in New York as well. Watkins Glen does not require the technical skills that Sonoma does, but road course racing requires a different breed of driver. Those who figured out Sonoma should have no problem with Watkins…

Long NASCAR-less Winter Ahead

Started by Vicki Williams in ALL THINGS NASCAR 3 hours ago. 0 Replies

It was heartwarming to see Matt Kenseth in Victory Lane at Phoenix after his next to the last race (so far as we know). I never considered Matt one of "my" drivers but I always liked him a lot and it seemed that most people did. By sharing his final…Continue

Congratulations to Kevin Harvick for punching his ticket to Homestead by winning in Texas. We only have one spot left to be decided next week. Texas was a sad race for me, watching Jimmie wallow around toward the back, without the speed to contend.…Continue
