The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will travel to Martinsville, Virginia this week for the STP 500.
The race at Martinsville Speedway last spring was dominated by Jimmie Johnson. He won the pole and led 346 of 500 laps on his way to his eighth victory at the race track. His Hendrick Motorsports teammates performed well in the race as well. Jeff Gordon finished third and Kasey Kahne finished fourth. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will travel to Fontana, California this week for the Auto Club 400.
The race at Auto Club Speedway last season was one of the best races of the year. Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin bumped and banged each other while racing for the lead. Finally Logano had enough and sent Hamlin into the wall. Kyle Busch raced pass both drivers and won the race. Busch was able to win both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races at Auto Club Speedway last year. …Continue

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will travel to Bristol this week for the Food City 500.
The race at Bristol is one of the best races for fans to watch, but it is incredibly tough on the drivers. The high-banked, half-mile race track does not provide drivers enough room to race without letting their tempers get out of control. Passing at Bristol usually involves pushing another driver out-of-the-way. This type of racing usually leads to angry drivers after the race. …Continue

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will travel to Las Vegas this week for the Kolbalt Tools 400.
This will be the first race of the season on the 1.5-mile tri-oval race tracks. Since the majority of the races are held on this type of race track, Sunday’s race will give fantasy NASCAR players a good indication of who the drivers to beat will be in 2014. (…Continue
