Well this is my first blog post, I will try to keep it simple and not to boring.
Can somebody explain to me how thw new points system is improving anything? It doesn't address the issues with the chase and I find it hard to believe that we the fans were having difficulty understanding the old system, or at least the majority. Kevin Harvick, along with Denny Hamlin, finally gave "The Champ" a run for his money in the Chase for the Sprint Cup last year. Many think the sport needs a new champion, and last year was the closest it has been in a while to happening.
