Quit Your Bitching!

I'm sorry I've neglected this blog for so long. I had some health issues going on that left me with zero energy. I watched all the races, of course, I'd almost have to be on my death bed not to do that. I did have enough energy to jump up and down when Jimmie won his third race, the most for any driver this year!Looking back at a month of racing that I didn't write about, it all looks more like a collage than a straight line. There were some great last laps shoot-outs. Some of the best cars…See More

The Usual Suspects

Congratulations to Joey Logano for his victory in Richmond. Of course, we all knew it was only a matter of time. Richmond wasn't a barn-burner but it was a good race. Anyone who expects a barn-burner every time will be disappointed. In fact, this is true of all sports. The favorites usually win, that's why they are the favorites. The exciting oddity is when a competitor not on the list of usual suspects pulls it off. When the underdog prevails. So far, we've had seven winners in nine races: Kurt…See More

"Well, I was being a little sarcastic with the "stooping" comment. I'd love to see Kyle L at Hendrick and I think both owners and drivers have a right, even a responsibility, to do what is right for them. "

I experienced Cheers and Tears this week in NASCAR.CheersTo Team 48. Jimmie won at Bristol for back to back wins, his sixteenth consecutive season in which he's won multiple races. His 82nd win....next on the list to be overtaken is Cale Yarborough. Cale was Jimmie's favorite NASCAR driver when he was a kid.
