Back when I was 15 years old my German Shepherd got ill and I took him to the vets and the the bill end up going into the thousands to save his life. I didn't want to ask my parents to pay for it but I couldn't afford it also. The owner of animal hospital knew my family from all the past veterinary work we'd had done there in years past. The Vet offered to let me work there after school and on weekends to pay off my debt. I worked very hard as a kennel helper. I worked for these people for about a month when Dr. Douglas (owner) came to me and said I was doing a great job and wanted me to stay, needless to say I accepted.
I worked for this animal hospital for about 11 years. We saw many of their wolves almost on a weekly basis, I got to know each of the pack members as the weeks, months and years went by. The pack really started to get to know me and trust me more and I developed much more of a relationship with these wolves. At this point I was like Jim Dutcher from the documentary Living with Wolves. I was completely captivated by these animals, the love they have for one another and their devotion to their family is inspiring! Even the life omega wolf meant so much to all the pack members, in the doc it's looks like they don't like the omega but that's simply not true, wolves are often very nice to the omega as well and would kill anyone outsider of their pack for messing with any pack member, unfortunately that's just the way life is in a hierarchy system that wolves employ. My love for wolves grew to a point where I thought about them all the time and wanted to be with as much as possible. The people who run the wolf sanctuary really got to know and like me through working with me at the animal hospital. I asked them if I could volunteer on weekends to work at the sanctuary so I could work and play with them more, they agreed (a lot of wolf sanctuaries need volunteers to help cut their expenses, I was more than happy to do it). When summers rolled around while many kids were doing kid things I spent my summers at the wolf sanctuary doing what I loved most and that was being with them.
I miss the wolves so much and I think about them all the time, they were such a big part of my life as I was growing up into manhood. I'll never forget what they brought to my life.... peace, joy, happiness is a few words that come to mind. I know all the wolves I knew back then have long since passed away and I haven't kept in touch with the sanctuary in recent years as life just has a way of making you lose touch with people and wolves but I miss them all so much, wish I could go back in time and live that magical moment of my life all over again! There's my story! Awoooooooooooooo! Woof!!
THOSE THREE LITTLE WORDS
I'll say those three little words to you
In my mind
Though I know you do not want to hear
Those three little words I never revealed
Why I didn't
I know not why
Those three little words
I kept them inside
Such a bumbler as I
Never letting you know
Those three words
They mean so much
Those three words
I should have said them
I didn't say
For that I dread
For being so childish
I wish I were dead,
Though I don't mean that
It’s how I feel
To not show you
How I feel
All I ever needed to do
Is say
I Love You
Here is how the new chase format works

There once was a boy named Scott, he certainly enjoyed nascar racing a lot. He made a lot of friends, and all different kinds, and even ones who smoked pot. Through many years this brought him joy, yet not as much as when the 5th title was earned by his favorite, the "Wonder Boy"
NASCAR in my life
I've always been a fan of racing since I was a kid.More specifically open-wheel racing. One day,I bought a video game of a racing series called NASCAR and my life was never the same.Funny how things happen in this life sometimes. It was love at first play!(haha)
I've got interested for that sport instantly and started to follow it,though there was very little coverage on that by brazilian media. That was way back in 2001,shortly after Dale Earnhardt Sr. passed away. But the coolest thing is that I found a new passion and also new friends!
Friends from USA and even other countries!Friends that mean a lot to me as I'm sure I mean to them.Different ways of thinking,of seeing the life.Different backgrounds, different cultures. But also many things in common! We're always learning from each other. And what is life if not a constant learning?
I share with them things about me and my country and also learn things about them and their countries.Even very interesting scientific methods to deal with things like cramps and burns (haha). One friend in particular is trying to turn me into a writer!I admit it's an interesting exercise for the mind and also for the sensitivity.
I can't imagine my life without NASCAR racing. And mainly,I can't imagine it without my NASCAR NATION friends.Without the fun and the joy we share with each other in this place! We're so far away from each other and yet so close! These on-line friends are so important in my life as my off-line friends!
And I hope I can make more and more NASCAR friends here and that our friendship will extend beyond the sport. It has been a wonderful experience to me and I hope it gets better and better!
Well, that's it for now.Maybe we can meet here again.Who knows?
Tchau! ;-)
TALENT
Is not measured by how many ominous family connections have supplied you with the best equipment nor is it by your ability to fast-talk your way into Hendrick Motorsports. Talent is, indeed measured by the ability of driver and crew to unite as one theory. It is measured by sheer grit and determination. While the likes of Gordon, Johnson, Stewart, Earnhardt and Petty have, indeed cascaded their way to the top of the racing ladder in the survival of the fittest and pure ability, as it goes without saying that GOD HIMSELF has entrusted theese men with the ability to race, it is not so with the likes of Dillon, Patrick, and Meanard, who were lifted up in carriage to the heights of competition and thus must prove their abilities on the speedway. Those kinds of drivers may commence to possess multitudes of talent, but only time itself will tell.
