NASCAR NATION Trivia/Fantasy Series game!
Race season is almost here!! Time to start getting ready for some trivia/fantasy racing! This year will be broken up into three 12 week segments. I (HBK29) will be hosting segment one, Rowdyfan56 will be hosting segment 2 and I will return to do segment 3.
RULES:
Each race week, a round will be posted here in this group. A Round consists of 3 Trivia questions, along with one Fantasy prediction of who will finish 1st and 2nd in the race. In addition this year we will picking the pole winner and have one extra bonus question.
Players earn points over the course of three segments throughout the season based on how many of the questions/predictions they got right. Accumulate the most points to win!!!
Your answers/picks must be submitted before the deadline (usually half-an-hour before the start of qualifying) each race week. Once entries are submitted only the two fantasy picks can be changed up until the drop of the green flag. Submit your entries to myself (HBK29) via PM or by comment for segments 1 and 3; Rowdyfan56 for segment 2.
POINTS:
- Ø Each of the 3 Trivia questions is worth 5 points. These will be geared toward that week’s race or race track. Keep in mind that all questions are considered cup unless otherwise stated.
- Ø The Fantasy prediction (who you think will finish 1st and 2nd in the weekend's race) is worth however many points those two drivers earned in the real-life race. If one of your picks wins the race you will receive 5 bonus points.
- Ø Pole picks will begin at the second race at Phoenix, since qualifying at Daytona is spread out over several days. Scoring will be 10 points for pole, 8 for 2nd, 6 for 3rd, 4 for 4th, and 2 points for 5th place.
- Ø Bonus question will be worth 5 points and will be about anything related to Nascar.
- Ø So there could be a total of 35 bonus points plus driver points!!
