Well folks, the inaugural Cup race in Kentucky is upon us. I'm expecting a great race, but kinda hard to pick a winner! I'm thinking the drivers who do well on cookie cutters may do well here but who knows! what do you all think?
Look for guys who do well at Kansas to do well here, I like the Roush Fenway gang led by Edwards and Kenseth. Also, look for Joey to be in the mix to run well. He has owned the Nationwide series here, winning three in a row. He also was part of the tire test at KY Speedway in June.
anyone else with thoughts on this? I have to like Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski. Carl Edwards and Jeff Gordon should do well, too. I'm researching past results at Kansas and Phoenix, too, since this is the first cup event here....
I think KY most resembles Kansas obviously with bumps like that of Texas. Chicagoland is pretty similar as well. Joey should def on the radar. I think Kurt will grab the pole and have a nice race but 99 or 17 get the win.
