Dave, just wanted to let you know I have been in and out of private chat tonight and the lime green names are gone.  Yes. 

I noticed when typing a comment and someone is posting a comment, the typing stops.  It didn't happen last night.

Other than that, it is looking much better.

 Oh, I have i.e. 8 and windows xp

On Firefox... I can no longer post to the chat on popout... IE works for me tho...

Dave, the onlly thing tonight when there was just 2 of us chatting, when typing a comment, it slowed down a lot.  Other than that, there are no other problems I see.

Dave, when more people are on chatting, the typing still freezes up when trying to type a comment

this started about an hour ago. It keeps switching from main room to private chat. or vice versa.  Also typing comments are very slow again and sometimes freezing.

One time it took me to Dave's page cause I had looked earlier to see what his avitar was.  Don't know what "sparked" that

Hi Dave, tonight my chat keeps going back to the top in main chat and private chat.  Haven't had that problem for a long time.

 

Other thing is when I open the blinds for the sun to come in so I can turn off my light, to save electricity, I have a hard time seeing the screen, it hurts the eyes.

Dave, I'm fairly new here but I'll post my observations whether they be right or wrong...lol. I use IE 9.0 and when I sign in the homepage defaults with a "members online" window and a "chat" window.  I have found this very bothersome when navigating aroumd the pages.  If I use the "chat" window on the homepage, maximizing it, most of the time the window will freeze up when typing in the chatroom. I have found that if I right-click on the "chat" link in the top menu and open it in a new tab, not only is it full screen and easier to see, I don't have the freeze up issues.  That way I have two tabs: Chat and the Homepage/Mypage. However, I would like to recommend that you don't have to "fall into" the chatroom to see who's there....lol. Personally, I would like the capability of seeing who's in the chatroom before I am connected to it. Perhaps having the "members online" active and then when you open the "chat" link you will be connected?  Anyways, for what it's worth!

Tonight I have had a lot of problems with freezing of typing and posting comments.  There were 16 or 17 people actively posting comments and I had to wait on what I typed before I could post it and it would post 5 or 6 comments later.  Also took a while going back and forth from main chat to private chat.  That was the 2nd time that has happened.  I figured that would happen wih more people chatting.  Otherwise its been okay.
